Your privacy

Privacy policy

Personal service starts with respect for your privacy.

Last updated: October 7, 2026

I’m Nikolay Kolev, a Licensed Immigration Professional and the owner of Kolev Immigration Services Inc. This policy explains how your personal information is handled when you visit this website, contact me or use my services.

Information you share

When you contact me or book a consultation, I collect the information needed to respond and help you. This may include your name, email, phone number, address, appointment details and the questions or circumstances you would like to discuss. If you share documents, such as a résumé or refusal letter, they also become part of the information I hold about you.

Your consultation record may include correspondence, notes, payment records and your signed agreement. An electronically signed agreement includes your typed name, the terms you accepted and the date and time of signing.

Please keep an initial inquiry brief and avoid sending sensitive documents until we have discussed what is needed. If you provide information about someone else, please make sure you have their permission or another lawful basis to share it.

How your information is used

I use your information to respond to inquiries, arrange and prepare for your consultation, provide immigration advice and agreed services, send appointment information and follow-up correspondence, and maintain client and financial records. Information may also be needed to meet professional and legal obligations or resolve a concern about the services provided.

Service providers and disclosure

I use service providers for scheduling, payment processing, email, online meetings, website hosting and document storage. They process information needed to deliver those services. Card payments are handled through the payment provider; please do not send card details by email or message.

Information may also be shared with your consent, as needed to carry out services you have authorized, or where disclosure is required or permitted by law. Some service providers process or store information outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws and lawful access requirements of that jurisdiction.

Keeping your information

Client records and signed agreements are kept privately, with access controls. Records are retained for the purposes described here and to meet applicable professional, legal and recordkeeping obligations. Ending access to an online agreement does not delete the copy retained in your file.

Safeguards help protect your information, but no online service or method of communication is completely secure. Please contact me if you are unsure how to share a sensitive document.

Cookies and online services

The website and its online services use cookies and temporary browser storage to support functions such as booking and completing your agreement. Hosting, booking and other external services may also receive technical information, such as your IP address and browser details, and use cookies under their own privacy policies.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings, although blocking them may prevent parts of the booking process from working. If you follow an external link or contact me through a messaging service, that service’s privacy policy also applies.

Your choices and privacy questions

You may ask to access or correct your personal information, or withdraw consent for its use, subject to applicable legal and contractual limits. If information is needed to provide a service, withdrawing consent may affect my ability to continue that service. I will explain any relevant limits when responding to your request.
